Although I agree with you about all the uses for POTS - and even agree that people will want to keep using POTS four years from now, I think the copper-POTS network will be gone.

It can&#039;t be maintained just for the faxers or the home alarm systems or, even more important, the people who have no cellular or broadband alternative. Revenue for the network is falling too fast.
