The ultra-cheap (and ultra cheap-looking) plasticmobile line from Toyota, otherwise known as Scion, has leveraged its chic with younger people and entered the Metaverse. That’s right, I know you’re all clamoring for this. As of today, you can buy a Scion in Second Life for 300 Linden Dollars (that’s a buck and a half Canadian).
I wonder when virtualized product launches will actually become mainstream-worthy? Is Second Life always going to be a sideshow of pop-culture, or is it ever going to catch on?
